B and G Produce found the biggest pumpkin in our garden…and then decided to have a contest. Through the end of October, stop by market and “Guess My Weight”. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate from B and G Produce for next season.

We also brought in a bunch of smaller, still rather huge, pumpkins from the garden. All the profit from the sale of these pumpkins will be donated to the Pierre-Ft Pierre Area Humane Society. Check out their blog, http://pets4adoption.wordpress.com, it’s so cool! Posts from the animals themselves.
