We’re well into July and the heat has finally arrived. We’ve been really lucky this year as we’ve received a nice amount of rain. But now, it’s time to water…and water we will.
The picture above shows the final bit of spinach from a couple weeks ago and some of the new lettuces. A lot of our plants are watered by drip line, but we use sprinklers for the rest.
I mentioned in the Capital City Farmers’ Market email today that we have a baby peacock. Could this handsome fella be the father? We may never know…
Finally, Debby’s flowers are up and blooming. They really add a nice pop of color wherever they are growing. So different than most of our green plants in the rest of the garden. It’s amazing to see how the variety of flowers has grown in the last 4 years.
